What is SignalFlow?

A real-time cross-platform signal intelligence system monitoring Reddit, HackerNews, Bluesky and YouTube simultaneously. It detects when topics emerge and propagate across communities — often before mainstream media coverage.

What is the intelligence block?

Every 15 minutes, an LLM reads the top signals for each trending topic and generates a 3-sentence summary, identifies the dominant narrative and emerging counter-narrative, and explains why platform sentiment diverges. This runs outside the hot path — ingestion is never delayed.

What does cross-platform mean?

A topic appearing on two or more platforms within the same window. Significant because it indicates a topic is escaping its origin community — a reliable early signal of mainstream breakout.

How is the trend score calculated?

Each signal gets a score derived from velocity (points per second), comment velocity, baseline comparison and sentiment weight. Scores are normalised across platforms so a Bluesky post and Reddit thread are directly comparable.

How do I access the API?
